For those who may not know, the Knights Templar protected the early pilgrims on the Camino, so they were very important.

Of course the Monarchy did not like the potential threat to its power so they were brought down eventually.
I wonder what their role is today??!
N.B. Says they were disbanded in 1308-1309 or 1312. Says the Freemasons adopted a lot of their imagry and stuff, but nope, the actual Knights Templar are gone I’m affraid Doris
