I walked 26k today up and hills and an endless road.
I misread the mileage on the map or I would never have done it. However I staggered into the first Albergue that I found and guess what??? They had an on site masseuse!! 20 minutes for 15 euros!! What a deal! I had him do my feet and legs and was able to walk well enough to go out to the square tonight and join other pilgrims for a great restaurant dinner, first time.

I adore Spain!!
It is so beautiful and civilized ! Wine is 1.95 euros per bottle and included free with meals.
Today I came across a fountain in a village that had two spigots, one for water, and one for wine. Does life get better than that???
I missed Mass tonight due to dinner so I will try to see the church in the morning before they lock the door.
