Tonight I am in Carrilla de cruces (Calzadilla de la Cueza), I walked a Roman road today, straight as an arrow for over 16k. It is covered over with gravel now but underneath it is blocks of stone brought in from miles away. Incredible!
Our roads should be as good!
It gets quite hot in the afternoon with little shade but I am doing fine.
Lots have blisters but I don’t.
My feet just get sore by the end of the day.
I count my blessings!
