I am in Mancilla tonight and because the Albergue was full I am alone in a double room, for a price, of course. It is nice not to listen to snoring and people getting [up] during the night and being awakened at 5:30 in the morning!!

Last night I stayed in a church run Albergue. They had devotions before supper but there was no one to run it so we did. A woman from New Zealand took charge and started singing a song which a man from England joined in an the rest of us could follow somewhat. Then she asked each of us to lead our favorite. Mine was Amazing Grace and nearly all joined in even though many did not speak English. Beautiful service!!
