I have left Astorga and have gone about 10km so far in a cold drizzly rain.
I am in a cafe in Santa Catalina right now drinking hot chocolate.
There is a group of people walking from Lithiwainia(sp) carrying crucified Christ on a cross and a statue of Virgin Mary and flags. They pray and sing as the go. They are praying for peace and prayers for every village and church and priest. I feel as if I am in the procession so many centuries ago.
